CAPAC — Capac topped Harbor Beach twice in a Greater Thumb Conference varsity softball doubleheder last Thursday.

In the opener, Capac earned a 6-0 win against Harbor Beach.

Nevaeh Mason and Gabby Tice (two singles each) plus Skielar Tesnow, Robin Owens and Marybeth Klein (a single apiece) furnished Capac’s base hits.

Roberson was Capac’s pitcher of record. She allowed three hits and struck out 10.

In the second game, Capac registered a 12-4 victory over Harbor Beach.

Tesnow (a single and a double), Mason (a single and a double) along with Ava Thorner, Owens and Tice (a pair of singles each) led Capac with multiple-hit performances. Chloe Schocke, Roberson and Klein (a single apiece) also reached the hitting column.

Roberson was the winning Capac pitcher. She gave up nine hits and struck out nine en route.
