CAPAC — The Capac varsity baseball team halved a pair of contests last Saturday.

Jimmy Johns Field, in Utica, is where the action unfolded.

Capac started the day off with a 3-2 loss to Clawson.

Austin Howard led Capac with a pair of singles. The Chiefs also received one single each courtesy of Brody Tesnow and Trenton Tice.

Capac then evened their mark at 1-1 on the day, handing Hale a 15-0 setback.

Carlos Uribe-Arce and Tesnow paced Capac with a pair of singles apiece. They were given assistance in the hitting department by Wiley Roose, Axel Demaray, Dustin Kreutzman, Brandon Szuch and Tice (a single each).

Demaray and Tice shared the pitching responsibilities for Capac. They allowed one total hit over three innings, struck out five and walked none.
