Dryden’s Delaney Wolle, Caila Fitchett, Sophia Peter and Olivia Reynolds took first in the 800 relay at the Marlette Invite.

TRI-CITY AREA — The Dryden, Almont and Capac girls’ track squads registered respective showings of first, seventh and 12th last Friday at the Marlette Invitational.

Dryden topped the standings with 114 points. They were followed by Cass City and Unionville Sebewaing (94.5 points each), Marlette (61), Laker (49), Brown City (45.5), Almont (40.5), Harbor Beach (39), Vassar (34), Bad Axe (29.5), Mayville (27.5), Capac (19), Sandusky (11) and Memphis (two).

Sophia Peter, 100 (17.41 seconds) and 300 (50.86 seconds) hurdles; Olivia Reynolds, 400-meter dash, 1:02.47; and Cara Prusakiewicz, 1600 3200-meter run, (13:40.32); led Dryden with individual event wins.

The Dryden 800 (Delaney Wolle, Caila Fitchett, Peter and Reynolds) and 1600 (Keira Miller, Wolle, Peter and Reynolds) relays also prevailed. They were timed in 1:51.31 and 4:27.48, respectively.

Ava DeVlaminck, shot put, 27 feet 3 1/2 inches; and Reynolds, 200-meter dash, 26.72 seconds; and Prusakiewicz, 1600 run, 6:02.2; gave Dryden individual event seconds

The Dryden 3200-meter relay of Audrey Napolitano, Lily Finnigan, Fitchett and Prusakiewicz took second as well. They stopped the watch at 11:35.06.

Fitchett, 200-meter dash, 28.75 seconds; provided Dryden with a third.

Giving Dryden fourths were Fitchett, 300 hurdles, 54.04 seconds; and Napolitano, 3200-meter run, 14:04.62.

Wolle, 100 dash, 14.33 seconds; managed a fifth for Dryden.

Dryden also received a seventh from Finnigan, 3200-meter run, 14:29.83.

Madison Niedermaier, pole vault, 8 feet; paced Almont with a second.

Lauren Webster, high jump, 4 feet 8 inches; collected a third for Almont.

The 3200 relay of Jenna Kline, Ayla Delaurier, Amanda Fitchett and Laila Evola took fourth in 12:02.75.

Grace VanDyke, discus, 77 feet 5 3/4 inches; and Laila Evola, 3200-meter run, 14:12.5; supplied Almont with individual event fifths.

The Almont 800 relay of Christy Trisler, Jacqueline Coronel, Montserrat Coronel and Webster ranked fifth as well. It took them 2:04.31 to accomplish the feat.

Samantha Miodowski, shot put, 27 feet; secured the lone Almont sixth.

Madison Miodowski, shot put, 26 feet 3 3/4 inches; gave Almont an individual event seventh.

The Almont 400-meter relay of Genesis Fisher, Montserrat Coronel, Trisler and Webster placed seventh in 57.06 seconds.

Niedermaier, long jump, 13 feet 9 3/4 inches; and Evola, 1600 run, 6:22.9; added eighths to Almont’s cause.

Ava Klink, discus, 86 feet 2 1/2 inches; led Capac with a second.

She also supplied a shot put toss of 27 feet 2 1/2 inches, good for fourth.

Bella Wetter, 100-meter hurdles, 18.44 seconds; furnished the lone Capac fifth.

She also added eighths in the 100 (14.38 seconds) and 200 (29.63 seconds) dashes.
