DRYDEN — The Dryden girls’ track squad claimed a second-place showing at a quad meet hosted by Deckerville on Tuesday, April 9.

Deckerville won the meet with 97 points. They were followed by Dryden (73 points), Akron-Fairgrove (33) and North Huron (27).

Olivia Reynolds, 200 (27.0 seconds) and 400 (1:02.1) dashes; led Dryden with a pair of outright individual event firsts.

The Dryden 400 (Keira Miller, Olivia Zellers, Mallory Barker and Delaney Wolle), 800 Caila Fitchett, Sophia Peter, Wolle and Reynolds) and 1600-meter (Wolle, Peter, Fitchett and Reynolds) relays also emerged victorious. They registered respective clockings of 59.5 seconds, 1:53.8 and 4:44.1 en route.

Wolle, 100 dash, 13.0 seconds; and Peter, 110 hurdles, 16.8 seconds; provided Dryden with two-way ties for first in their events.

Lily Finnigan, discus, 69 feet 2 inches; and Peter, 300-meter hurdles, 54.9 seconds; contributed Dryden’s seconds.

Miller, 100 (13.7 seconds) and 200 (30.1) dashes; along with Audrey Napolitano, 1600-meter run, 7:01.5; added thirds to Dryden’s cause.
