Charles “Chuck” Seidell, age 58, of Imlay City, MI died Monday, April 8, 2024, at Serene Gardens Assisted Living of Imlay City, MI. Charles David Seidell was born July 4, 1965, in Lapeer, MI. He is the son of Marilyn (Martz) Seidell and the late Peter Seidell. Chuck grew up on his family’s farm near Almont, MI. He was a graduate of Almont High School, Class of 1983. He married Vicki Detzler on March 27, 1992, in Lum, MI. They had recently celebrated their 32nd anniversary.

He was employed as a Machinist and Supervisor for Metal Fabrication by Quasar Industries in Rochester Hills, MI for 29 years. Chuck enjoyed 5th wheel traveling for many years, fishing, bicycling and going on bike trips on the west side of Michigan. He and his brother, John, loved to play catch with all the nieces and nephews.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Vicki Seidell of Imlay City, MI ; mother, Marilyn Seidell of Dryden, MI; his brothers, William “Billy” (Teresa) Seidell of Dryden, MI and John (Heather) Seidell of Dryden, MI; nieces and nephews, Kevin (Shavone) Spudowski, April (Eric) Osentowski, Tom (Samantha) Seidell, Sandra (Jon) Scott, Cole Seidell, Isaiah Seidell, Madeline Seidell, Ryan Hagemeister, and Taylor (Krystal) Hagemeister; his parents-in-law, Robert and Barbara Detzler; and sister-in-law, Cindi (Keith) Hagemeister.

Chuck was preceded in death by his father, Peter Seidell and sister, Melissa Seidell.

A private Family Celebration of Life / Memorial Service is being planned for later in the month.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Imlay City, 225 N. Main Street, Imlay City, MI.
