ALMONT — A pair of former Almont baseball standouts are listed on the roster of the Rochester Christian baseball team this spring.

Matthew Redmond, a freshman pitcher, has put up solid numbers in his initial campaign at Rochester Christian.

He has made four appearances as pitcher thus far. In 20 1/3 innings of work, Redmond has registered 21 strikeouts and allowed 16 hits with a 2.66 ERA.
Opposing hitters have batted .200 against him.

Donovon Galovich has pitched a total of two innings for Rochester Christian this spring.

The junior has thrown two innings of hitless ball, notching one strikeout along the way.

Galovich, who also lines up as an outfielder, has seen playing time in a total of 17 games for Rochester Christian.

He has gone 11 for 48 at the plate, collecting seven singles and four doubles along the way.

Galovich has also contributed six walks to Rochester Christian’s cause.
