Almont’s Laila Evola (L) battles it out with a pair of foes last Thursday at the SVSU Division 3/4 Indoor Invitational.

ALMONT — The Almont girls’ track squad managed 19 top-50 finishes last Thursday at the SVSU Division 3/4 Indoor Invitational.

No team scores were kept at the meet.

Lola Battaglia supplied the best Almont individual event showing, taking 10th with a 400-meter dash clocking of 1:07.13.

The Almont 1200 relay of Lauren Webster, Lillian Longo, Genesis Fisher and Battaglia wound up 10th as well. They were timed in 3:18.43.

Amanda Fitchett, 3200-meter run, 17:53.87; provided Almont with a 14th.

The Almont 2400-meter relay of Haley Dempz, Ayla DeLaurier, Laila Evola and Charlotte Verougstraete were 16th in 9:07.05.

Grace VanDyke, shot put, 25 feet 6 inches; gave Almont an 18th.

DeLaurier, 800 run, 2:58.69; generated a 19th for Almont.

Madison Miodowski, shot put, 25 feet 3 inches; and Dempz, 400 dash, 1:10.78; contributed 20ths to Almont’s cause.

Montserrat Coronel, long jump, 12 feet 5 inches; and Longo, 200-meter dash, 30.13 seconds; collected 22nds for Almont.

Providing Almont with a 24th was Montserrat Coronel, aided by a 60 dash clocking of 9.11 seconds.

Jacqueline Coronel, 400-meter dash, 1:14; supplied Almont with a 27th.

Cassidy Dietz, long jump (10 feet 2 inches) and 60 hurdles (13.78 seconds), a pair of 33rds; Christy Trisler, 200-meter dash, 31.23 seconds; Verougstraete, 1600 run, 7:43.93, 40th; Trisler, 60-meter dash, 9.45 seconds, 43rd; and Fisher, 60 dash, 9.49 seconds; also obtained top-50 finishes for Almont.
