Dorothy May Neiter, age 95 of Dryden, passed away Saturday, March 23, 2024 surrounded by her family at home. She was born, November 16, 1928 the daughter of George and Irene Hively in Vassar. Dorothy met and fell in love with Donald F. Neiter and they were married February 22, 1947 in Saginaw. Together they raised their three daughters: Linda, Diane and Donna.

Dorothy was an avid bowler. She enjoyed Arts and Crafts in particular Crocheting. For many years Dorothy worked at Crittenton Hospital in Rochester as a Volunteer. Family was important to her. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Dorothy is survived by her loving daughters: Linda Lubonski of Dryden, Diane (Don) Sullins of Buffalo Valley, TN and Donna Sapien, Dryden, grandchildren: Dave (Kris) Lubonski, Mikelle (Joe) Mitory, Davette (Mike) Fleming, Mike (Mandy) Perhay, Don and Dan Sapien and Renita Ward, great-grandchildren: Trey and Kameron Lubonski, Brenden, Conner and Mikayla Fleming, Tommy and M.J. Perhay, Joey Mitory, Brianna, Colton and Maddie Ward. She is also survived by her siblings: Hazel Mardlin of Flint, Shirley (Roger) Roberts of Genessee.

She is predeceased by her parents, husband Donald, grandson Ryan Ward, son-in-law David Lubonski Sr., sisters: Elizabeth Bundesen, Violet Canole, Ruth Hiveley and brother George Hiveley.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 from 3:00-8:00 p.m. and Thursday March 28, 2024 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at Muir Funeral Home & Celebration of Life Center, 2650 S VanDyke, Imlay City 48444. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. at Muir Funeral Home & Celebration of Life Center, 2650 S. Van Dyke, Imlay City, MI 48444.
