ALMONT — The Almont boys’ track squad claimed 20 top-40 finishes at the SVSU Division 3/4 Indoor Invitational last Thursday.

No team scores were kept at the meet.

Chase Battani led Almont that day. He won the pole vault with a performance of 14 feet.

In addition to that, Battani claimed eighths with a 60-meter dash time of 7.42 seconds and a 60 hurdle clocking of 8.92 seconds.

Matthew Bacholzky, 400-meter dash, 52.69 seconds; collected a third for Almont.

Nolan Maxlow, high jump, 5 feet 6 inches; gave Almont a ninth.

The 1200 relay team of Colton Grzyb, Cole Walton, Maxlow and Bacholzky placed 11th in 2:39.89.

Maxlow, 400-meter dash, 55.51 seconds; provided Almont
with a 12th.

Caydon DuRall, pole vault, 9 feet; supplied Almont with a 14th.

The 2400 relay of Adam SaintOnge, Jacob Biolchini, Gavin Campbell and Derek Wetzel pulled up 17th in 6:58.23.

Walton, high jump, 5 feet 3 inches; and and Braedon Carlson, shot put, 37 feet 8 inches; contributed 19ths to Almont’s cause.

William Larkin, 1600-meter run, 5:22.23; generated a 22nd for Almont.

Tim Miller, 60 dash,. 7.71 seconds; collected a 23rd for Almont.

Walton, long jump, 16 feet 10 inches; provided Almont with a 24th.

Chase Jones, 60-meter hurdles, 11.7 seconds; picked up a 28th for Almont.

Miller, 200 dash, 25.41 seconds; supplied Almont with a 29th.

Campbell, 800-meter run, 2:31.57; generated a 33rd for Almont.

Dustin Claeys took 34th, thanks to a shot put toss of 34 feet.

Eric Haddon, 200-meter dash, 25.89 seconds; and SaintOnge, 800 run, 2:33.8; added 35ths to Almont’s cause.
