Imlay City’s Brie Hund looks to score in a district battle with Lake Fenton last Wednesday.

IMLAY CITY — Imlay City absorbed a 60-30 loss to Lake Fenton in a Division 2 girls’ district basketball semifinal matchup last Wednesday.

North Branch High School is where the game was contested.

With the result, Lake Fenton raises their mark to 16-6 overall. Imlay City finishes a 13-10 season.

Brie Hund (14) and Alexis Bruyere (12) proved Imlay City’s toughest players to contain. Lexa Forti (two points) along with Addison Cameron and Alexa Lengemann (one each) supported their peformances.

Hund generated the top Imlay City rebound output, pulling down nine missed shots. Bruyere and Forti added six and five rebounds, respectively, to the Spartans’ cause.
