Pedro Maldonado, Jr., age 58, of Shelby Township, MI died suddenly Wednesday, January 24, 2024, in Perrysburg, OH. Pedro Maldonado was born June 22, 1965, in San Antonio, Texas. He is the son of the late Pedro and Yolanda (Jimenez) Maldonado, Sr. He grew up in Imlay City and was a graduate of Imlay City High School, Class of 1982.

Pete married Christina Lebo on September 3, 2011, at Imlay City, MI. They have lived the last 12 years in Shelby Twp., MI. He was employed by Pantero Trucking of Troy for 5 years as an over-the-road truck driver. Pantero Trucking delivers paper products and sanitary supplies around the multi-state area. Pete had been a warehouse manager for Perfect Floors of Rochester Hills for several years and had spent many years installing carpeting and laminate flooring.

Pete is survived by his wife, Christina Maldonado of Shelby Township, MI; his daughter, Trisha (Charles) Meyers of Shelby Township, MI; sons, Pete (Nicole) Maldonado of Port Huron, MI and Anthony (Elise) Maldonado of Mt. Clemens, MI; his mother, Yolanda (Jimenez) Maldonado; sisters, Virginia Robson and Susie Brinker; brothers, Michael Maldonado, Basilio Maldonado and Eliseo Maldonado; also surviving are his grandchildren, Jacob, Zoey, Ava, Abigail, Charles, and Violet.

Pedro was preceded in death by his father, Pedro Maldonado, Sr.; a brother, Victor Maldonado; two sisters: Linda and Margaret.

Funeral arrangements for his cremation has been entrusted to the Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Imlay City, 225 N. Main Street, Imlay City, MI.
