IMLAY CITY — Imlay City (10-4, 4-2) came out on top of a 60-18 verdict over visiting Algonac (0-14, 0-7) in a Blue Water Area Conference varsity boys’ basketball clash last Friday night.

In Friday’s clash, Imlay City charged out to a 17-0 advantage after one quarter was over with and widened the gap to 34-5 at the half.

Imlay City then followed it up with a 26-13 second half edge, finishing off a 60-18 victory.

Zander Nash (24) and Landon Jones (10) led Imlay City with double digit point outputs. They were backed by Isaac Sommer (six points), Matt Evans and Micah Wampler (five each), Jack Siegler (four), Trystan Whiting (three) and Brady Detwiler (one).
