IMLAY CITY — Imlay City downed host Richmond, 56-46, in a Blue Water Area Conference varsity boys’ basketball contest last Thursday night.

With the result, Imlay City goes to 9-4 and 3-2. Richmond slips to 6-5 and 2-3.

In Thursday’s contest, Imlay City grabbed a 16-12 edge after one quarter and led 27-23 at the halftime break.

Imlay City then outscored Richmond 29-23 the rest of the way, putting the finishing touches on a 56-46 win.

Zander Nash (17) and Isaac Sommer (13) paced Imlay City with double digit point totals. They were backed by Landon Jones (nine points), Quintin Ramirez (six), Jack Siegler (five), Andrew Cezik (two) and Matt Evans (one).
