Duane William Chisnell of Dryden, MI, age 89 died January 12, 2024 in Lapeer, Michigan. Honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place.

Duane was born in Pontiac MI on June 5, 1934, the son of the late: Herbert and Helen (Spencer) Chisnell, and lived in Dryden, MI since 1960. He married Janet Sterner on June 25, 1960. Answering the call of his country, Duane served in the US Army during the Korean War, from 1953 to 1956. He was a tool-and-die maker by trade and an inveterate tinkerer who, after a long working career, restored antique clocks.

Duane is survived by wife of 64 years, Janet (Sterner); daughters Dana Chisnell, Lisa Swanson, and Andrea Chisnell; as well as two granddaughters and two great grandchildren; and his sister, Jean Adams.
