Alicja Vitale, age 68 of Imlay City and formerly of Warren, passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2024, surrounded by her family. She was born June 2, 1955, the daughter of Piotr and Jadwiga (Kaczoruk) Socha in Hrubieszow East of Lubland, Poland. Alicja moved with her mom and family to Hamtramck where she attended Osborn High School. After High School Alicja attended Cosmetology School. She met the love of her life Frank Vitale and they were married October 2, 1987, in Warren.

She was a hard worker all her life. She was a great cook and started two catering companies, “City Lights” and “Amber Lights.” She was a manager at Skyline Camp in Bruce Township for 5 years. Most recently Alicja was a bus driver for Imlay City Schools.

Alicja is survived by her devoted husband, Frank Vitale of Imlay City; her two loving daughters, Francesca (Jeffrey Houser) Vitale of Davison and Gabrielle (Robert Hampton) Vitale of Elba. She was Bama to her four grandchildren, Trinity Campbell, Alisha Baron, Vanessa Hampton and Kamryn Houser. She also leaves her sister, Maria Ann Socha-Remsik.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral service was held Sunday, January 7, 2024, at Muir Funeral Home & Celebration of Life Center, 2650 S. Van Dyke, Imlay City, MI 48444.
