IMLAY CITY — Imlay City fell by a 58-46 count to visiting Armada in a Blue Water Area Conference varsity girls’ basketball meeting on Tuesday, December 19.

With the outcome, Imlay City slips to 3-2 and 1-1.

In Tuesday’s meeting, Imlay City spotted Armada a 14-9 edge after one quarter was complete.

The middle two quarters saw Armada accumulate 36 total points and Imlay City manage 28. That staked Armada to a 50-37 cushion with 24 minutes gone.

Imlay City then put together a 9-8 fourth quarter rally, only to fall 58-46 at night’s end.

Lexa Forti led Imlay City with 15 points, including three trifectas. She was backed by Addison Cameron (nine points), Alexis Bruyere (eight, featuring a trey), Alexa Lengemann (seven, with a triple), Brie Hund (four) and Hannah Carney (a trifecta).
