ALMONT — Almont handed host Armada a 57-47 setback in a Blue Water Area Conference varsity boys’ basketball confrontation last Friday night.

In Friday’s confrontation, Almont took a 12-9 edge after one quarter was done and increased their cushion to 25-16 at the halftime break.

Almont then outscored Armada 32-31 the rest of the way, good for a 57-47 victory at night’s end.

Owen Rayl (32 points, including six trifectas) and Marko Radisavljevic (13) proved Almont’s top offensive threats. They were backed by Jason Lane and Cam Bourdeau (a triple each) along with Chase Davedowski (two).
