Darold Vincent, age 83, of Imlay City, MI, died Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at his home surrounded by his family. Darold John Vincent was born December 10, 1939, in Lum, MI. He is the son of the late John and the late Hazel (Hunter) Vincent. Darold grew up and lived his entire life in the Imlay City, MI area. He is a graduate of Imlay City High School, Class of 1958. He married Pauline Ondrus-Dinsmore on November 10, 1984, in Imlay City, MI. He proudly served in the United States Army before the Vietnam War.

He was employed as a Supervisor in the Service and Parts Operation of General Motors in Flint, MI for 32 years before retiring.

Darold enjoyed hunting, fishing, and classic cars. He studied karate with his sons. Recently, Darold began reading his Bible.

He is survived by his wife, Pauline Vincent of Imlay City, MI; sons, Troy (Dawn) Vincent of Ashboro, NC and Todd Vincent of Benson, NC; his step daughter, Chris (Scott) Schmitt of Imlay City, MI; step son, Nick (Jen) Dinsmore of Brown City, MI; and his sister, Viola Pisariuk of Lapeer, MI. He is also survived by: his grandchildren, Tyler Vincent, Deaven (Jessica) Vincent, Kylee Vincent, Jaeden Vincent, Lauren Dinsmore, Sarah Dinsmore, Jessica Luptak and Johnny Luptak; his great-grandson, Milo Vincent; and his nieces, Linda (Larry) May, Karen Pisariuk, and Annette (Al) Schwerin.

Darold was preceded in death by his parents, John and Hazel Vincent; step father, Rev. Kinniman Crawford; and his brother-in-law, George Pisariuk.

A graveside service was held Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at Imlay Township Cemetery, 682 N. Fairgrounds Rd., Imlay City, MI.
