DRYDEN — Jacob Burgess netted a game-high output of 42 points, helping Dryden obtain a 60-41 road win against Brown City in a non-league varsity boys’ basketball clash on Tuesday, November 28.
It was the season-opener for both squads.
In Tuesday’s clash, Dryden bolted out to a 20-1 advantage after one quarter and widened the gap to 40-20 at the half.
Brown City then put together a 21-20 second half rally, only to fall 60-41 at night’s end.
Sonny Coscione supplied the second highest Dryden point total that evening, tossing in nine. The Cardinals also had Gianni Coscione (five points), Josh Harris (three) and Hunter Hughes (one) reach the scoring column.
