SYNOPSIS
President Schneider called the Regular Meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. Councilmembers present were Dyke, Feldman, Glasser, Kuligowski, Powell, Steffler and Schneider. Staff members present were Village Manager David Trent, Clerk/Treasurer Kimberly Keesler and Police Chief Andrew Martin.
Approved the agenda; approved the consent agenda with corrections; approved to hold a second reading and adopt Fireworks Ordinance Amendment #207.1; approved with Councilmember Steffler abstaining, to approve of Manager Trent signing the letter of support and sending to the appropriate representatives for the PFAS Liability Protection Act; approved of Manager Trent signing the letter of support and sending to the appropriate representatives for the FLOW Act; Consensus of Council to hold a first reading of Ordinance #193.8 Zoning Ordinance Amendment-Food Truck Use, investigate the decibel and distance requirement and the ability to file and pay online; approved the 2017 Dodge Charger, the 2016 Ford Explorer and the Winco 7500-Watt Generator to go to auction at the Eastern Michigan State Fairgrounds scheduled for October 7-8, 2023.
