SYNOPSIS
Mayor Kempf called the meeting to order and led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag at 7 p.m. Commissioners present: DeLuca, Ramirez, Sadler, Tanis, Yockey; Commissioners absent: Collison; Also present: City Manager Craig Horton, DDA Director Christine Malzahn, Fire Chief Keith Klobucar, Lapeer County Commissioner District 5 Truman Mast, Clerk/Treasurer Dawn Sawicki-Franz and Public. Commissioners approved: Agenda; Consent Agenda with minutes and bill payments $705,063.65; Introduction of Fire Chief Keith Klobucar; Special Event Permit-2023-09 Winter Fest with parade and tree lighting Dec 9, 2023 10 a.m.-8 p.m.; Closed Session; Ratify tentative agreement with Police Union; increase in pay for all full time nonunion employees and paid-on-call firefighter and fire command groups; Adjournment 8:34 p.m. Submitted by Dawn Sawicki-Franz, City Clerk.
