
Dryden’s Cara Prusakiewicz (#2088) set a school record at the Div. 4 state finals.
DRYDEN — Cara Prusakiewicz registered a school record-setting clocking of 21:00, paving the way to a 66th-place showing last Saturday at the Division 4 cross country state finals.
Michigan International Speedway, in Brooklyn, is where the meet was contested.
Prusakiewicz lowered the previous mark of 21:01.3 set by Ella Kage during the 2019 campaign.
Audrey Napolitano and Lily Finnigan also represented Dryden that day. Napolitano posted a time of 22:03.9 for 137th and Lily Finnigan managed a 22:52.5 clocking en route to a 171st.
Aiden Harrand, of Buckley, was the race pacesetter. She was timed in 17:38.9.
Whitmore Lake (78 points) won the team title that day. Johannesburg-Lewiston (112), Muskegon West Michigan Christian (124), Hillsdale Academy (146), Harbor Springs (212), Breckenridge and Buckley (256 each), Gobles (295). Kingston (316) and Mason County Eastern (319) rounded out the top-ten schools.
