DRYDEN — The Dryden girls’ cross country team wound up with 104 points en route to a fourth at a Division 4 regional last Saturday.
Wagener County Park, in Harbor Beach, is where the meet was contested.
Kingston (30 points), Unionville Sebewaing (67) and Ubly (75) held down the top-three spots that day.
They advance to the
Division 4 state finals set for this Saturday at Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn. Their race is scheduled for 9:30 a.m.
Cara Prusakiewicz, 10th, 21:16.89; Audrey Napolitano, 16th, 21:55.41; and Lily Finnigan, 18th, 22:02.84; led Dryden that day. They move on to the upcoming finals as one of the top-seven finishers not on a state-qualifying team. Caila Fitchett, 35th, 24:04.61; and Lillian Eason, 39th, 24:31.82 supported their performances.
