IMLAY CITY — Imlay City downed host Richmond, 7-1, in a Division 3 boys’ district soccer semifinal meeting Monday evening.

With the outcome, Imlay City (15-4-1) advances to a Wednesday, October 18 championship match where Almont (15-1-1) provides the opposition. That clash lists a 6 p.m. starting time.

Xavier Galeana (set up by Sebastian Salcedo), Galeana (assisted by Salcedo), Angel Barragan (unassisted), Dilan Garcia (set up by Salcedo), Benino Barragan (assisted by James Lauwers), Christopher Galiana (set up by Nery Vega) and Zander Nash (assisted by Giovani Franco) furnished Imlay City’s goals.

Quintin Ramirez and Omar Lopez shared the goalkeeping responsibilities for Imlay City. They managed three and two saves, respectively.
