NOTICE OF
PUBLIC HEARING
ZONING ORDINANCE TEXT AMENDMENT
The Township of Goodland Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Monday, October 30, 2023, at 6 p.m. in the boardroom at the Goodland Township Offices located at 2374 N. Van Dyke, Imlay City, Ml 48444 to consider proposed text amendments to the Goodland Township Zoning Ordinance. The proposed text amendments provide for the regulation of solar energy facilities within the Township including special land use standards, site plan requirements, decommissioning and standards relating to the operation of solar energy facilities.
A copy of the proposed amendments is available at the Township of Goodland Clerk’s Office located at 2374 N. Van Dyke, Imlay City, Ml 48444 during regular business hours. Written comments regarding the proposed amendments may be sent via regular mail to the Goodland Township Clerk’s Office at the above address prior to the public hearing or by email to goodland@bigtube.net. The public may also attend the hearing and provide public comments at that time.
This Notice is published pursuant to the requirements of the Michigan Zoning Enabling Act, Public Act 110 of 2006, as amended.
