Survived by cousins, nephews, nieces and friends she loved.
Alma was her childrens’ and husbands’ greatest fan, she believed that her family could do anything they set their minds to and her faith in the Lord was just as strong. Any one could get saved in her eyes, she would believe with all her heart for the best in people. Alma and Richard were a great husband and wife team, loving, providing and raising their 11 children. They both believed and instilled in their children to live life to the fullest, love Jesus, do your best and help others.
Alma was an amazing homemaker, her home was bustling with children, neighbor kids, sewing, music, dancing, laughing, great food, hug & kisses, lots of “I love You”, and old time saying that made common since and most importantly she loved the Lord. She was happiest when we were happy.
Alma D. Wyss was a great friend, she use to say “if you don’t have a friend then you should go be a friend.”
She loved writing, gardening, bird watching, traveling, dancing, story telling about family history, playing cards and dice, luncheons, the mother and daughter banquets and church.
The Bible was her favorite book, she lived by John 3:16,17 and loved Psalms 19:1-14 her favorite songs were In The Garden and Washed in The Blood of The Lamb. Alma joined the Richmond Chapter, Order of Eastern Star in 1955. The O.E.S. guiding verse in Matt 2:2 (We saw His Star when it rose and have come to worship Him).
When her husband Richard went to be with the Lord, she chose to ride a Greyhound bus to see her children and grandchildren. There is no doubt that the people she meet along the way were better for having met her because of the loving person she was.
She is greatly missed, but one day we will see her again! What a glorious day that will be!
Love you Mom, Grandma, great Grandma and family and friends!
