REGULAR MEETING
MONDAY,
SEPTEMBER 18, 2023
President Hlubic called the meeting to order at 7 p.m. and led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. Council Members present were Joe Herrington, Mary Klug, Lynne Mandeville, Joe Nemecek, Samantha Ramirez, Tony Vigiletti, and Village President Debra Hlubic. Also, present were Village Manager Travis Youatt, Clerk LeAnn Brewer, and Village Attorney Allen Francis.
Motions passed were to approve the September 18, 2023, Regular Agenda, the August 21, 2023 minutes, bills in the amount of $169,684.12, to schedule Trick-Or-Treating in the Village on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, from 6-8 p.m., approve the Special Event Application for the Capac Spooktacular Halloween Party on October 31, 2023, from 5-9 p.m., to approve the Village Manager’s Employment Contract commencing January 1, 2024, to appoint Jeff Kegler and Stacia Miller to the DDA for a 3-Year term, to make a recommendation to the Planning Commission to have Council become the appeal body for site plan review issues pursuant to the Michigan Zoning and Enabling Act and to have the Planning Commission schedule a Public Hearing in regards to this matter, to have the Planning Commission review and adjust Zoning Ordinance Section 30-9 for Mobile Homes.
