Dear Editor,

To the Almont Community, the Almont Community Park Board members are extending their thanks and gratitude for being able to host seven out of eight scheduled bands for Music in The Park 2023 Series. Sadly, due to weather complications, one of the bands was cancelled and could not reschedule. The severe weather this year gave much concern for cancellations, as well as the tent purchased for rainy weather, but all seven events were held. Food trucks were introduced and will be looked at for next year. This year our “band committee” booked a few new bands in anticipation of more attendance and input from the community, along with a sponsorship rating. There was 100% sponsorship for all the bands due to the generosity of Almont residents and businesses.
