Mayor Kempf called the meeting to order and led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag at 7 p.m. Commissioners present: Collison, DeLuca, Ramirez, Sadler, Tanis, Yockey. Also present: City Manager Craig Horton, DPW Superintendent Ed Priehs, Police Chief Brett Selby, Police Sergeant Sean Leathers, Clerk/Treasurer Dawn Sawicki-Franz and public.
Commissioners approved: Agenda; Consent Agenda with bill payments $1,505,090.36; Public Safety Ordinance-Second Reading; Public Hearing Notices and Publications to record; Open Public Hearing at 7:26 p.m.; Close Public Hearing at 8:37 p.m.; Election equipment purchase up to $14,500; Proclamation for Fire Chief Rick Horton; Special Event Permit-Chamber Trick-Or-Treat Saturday, October 21, 2023 at 11a.m.-1p.m.; City Wide Trick-Or-Treat hours Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at 6 p.m.-8 p.m.; Bid-Downtown District Brick Paver Removal and Concrete Installation with Elegant Stamped Concrete at $43,600; Bid-City Hall Parking Lot/Building Improvements with Spicer Group at $50,000; Adjournment 8:12 p.m. Submitted by Dawn Sawicki-Franz, City Clerk.
