BOARD MEETING SYNOPSIS
September 11, 2023
Meeting called to order at 7:30 p.m. by Supervisor Winn. Pledge of Allegiance recited. Members present: Parks, Klos, Winn, Christian & Wittstock. August minutes approved. Treasurer’s report approved. Fire report: 12 runs last month, old reports (several years) are being logged in, mutual aid package is almost done, $1500 approved for retractable hose reel and approval to pay $19/hour for a secretary to log in the old reports. Planning Commission: two splits tabled and a discussion about berms with trees. Senior report: regular activities attended and upcoming: Potluck 9/26, Bingo on 10/16 (noon) and a Vendor/Craft show 11/4 from 10am-3pm (vendors and bakers needed). Park report: Farmer’s Market is on Wednesdays with no charge to come and set up to sell your approved items and Halloween Party will be 10/15 (1-4pm). Discussed: Road assistance resolution adopted for 2024, train depot will be boarded up and possible motion sensor lights and cameras to be installed, zoning ordinance will be adjusted to 2.17 buildable acres needed to build, PA116’s approved for S&B Farms LLC, burial charges clarified and Thomas Cackowski hired as Fire Inspector. Motion to pay the bills made and accepted. Motion to adjourn 8:30 p.m. A complete copy of the unapproved current minutes is available at the township hall during business hours and on the township website within a couple days of the meeting.
