IMLAY CITY — The Imlay City varsity volleyball team opened the Blue Water Area Conference portion of their schedule with a 25-17, 25-16, 25-22 triumph against visiting Blue Water Area Conference counterpart Algonac last Thursday.
Chloe Bruman (six), Makayla Bruman (three) and Lexa Forti (one) accounted for Imlay City’s ace serves.
Makayla Bruman handled the bulk of Imlay City’s playmaking responsibilities that evening. She finished with 28 assists.
Chloe Bruman (12), Brie Hund (six) and Makayla Bruman (four) managed Imlay City’s highest kill outputs.
Forti (15), Chloe Bruman (nine) and Makayla Bruman (four) added Imlay City’s top dig totals.
