TRI-CITY AREA — Almont tied visiting Imlay City, 2-2, in a Blue Water Area Conference varsity boys’ soccer battle last Wednesday afternoon.
With the outcome, Almont goes to 2-0-1 and 1-0-1. Imlay City slips to 1-3-1 and 1-0-1.
Tyler Brown and Pjeter Lucaj accounted for Almont’s goals.
Bain Abithiera handled the goalkeeping responsibilities for Almont. He wound up with 18 saves.
Nery Vega (unassisted) and Sebastian Salcedo (set up by Vega) contributed Imlay City’s goals.
Quintin Ramirez and Max Galeana shared the goalkeeping chores for Imlay City. They managed six and four saves, respectively.
