Mary Frances Addison, age 60, of North Branch, MI died Saturday, August 19, 2023, at United Hospice Residence of Marlette, MI. Mary was born August 11, 1963, in Lapeer, MI. She is the daughter of Seymour and Mae (Goodrich) Addison. Mary grew up and lived all of her life in the North Branch area. She was a graduate of North Branch High School, Class of 1981.
Mary was the Office Manager for 39 years (started in 1984) at Lumco Manufacturing in Lum, MI. Mary enjoyed bowling on leagues in Lapeer and Imlay City, enjoyed golfing, reading, gardening, traveling, making quilts for the nieces and nephews, baking, and the holidays.
She is survived by her father, Seymour Addison; sisters, Pamela (Mel) VanSickle of Lapeer, MI and Carolyn Addison of North Branch, MI; her brother, George Addison of Attica, MI; nieces, Ashley (Pat) Beatty, Megan (Cody) Best, Halee Addison, and Emma Addison; her nephews, Ryan Addison, Aaron VanSickle, and Reece Addison; great-nephew and great nieces, Mason, Olivia, and Marlee. Also surviving is her second mother/closest friend, Martha Haller of Lapeer, MI.
Mary was preceded in death by her mother, Mae Addison.
The funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, August 24, 2023 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Imlay City, 225 N. Main Street, Imlay City, MI. Pastor Jerry Schriber of Farmland Ministries will be officiating. Burial will follow in Arcadia Township Cemetery, Lum, MI.
The family will be available for visitation 10:30 a.m.-1 p.m., Thursday, August 24, 2023 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Imlay City.
