Dale Langley, age 64, of Imlay City, MI died Friday, August 18, 2023, at Henry Ford Hospital of Detroit, MI. Dale Urtis Langley was born July 16, 1959, on Camp Pendleton in Oceanside, CA. He is the son of the late Urtis and Florajean (Frantz) Langley. He was a graduate of Imlay City High School, Class of 1977. He also graduated from Mott Community College in Flint with an Associate’s Degree. Dale grew up in Imlay City and has lived, on and off, much of his life in Imlay City; he has travelled extensively. Dale married Mayra Alejandro Tapia Moreno on July 27, 2022, in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico.
Dale was employed in the automobile industry as a Pipefitter. He was a Pipefitter for 30 years working at various automobile plants throughout the Detroit Metropolitan area.
Dale is survived by: his wife, Mayra Alejandro Tapia Moreno Langley; her children, Naomi and Mayra; his mother, Florajean (Frantz) Langley; sister, Ruth (Mitchell) Greenwald of Imlay City, MI; his brothers, Terrance (Jennifer) Langley of Oakley, MI, James Langley of Burton, MI and Richard (Athena) Langley of Attica, MI; twelve nieces and nephews; and fourteen great-nieces and nephews.
Dale was preceded in death by his father, John Langley.
The funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Wednesday, August 23, 2023, at Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Imlay City, 225 N. Main Street, Imlay City, MI.
The family will be available for visitation 12 Noon-1 p.m., Wednesday, August 23, 2023, at Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Imlay City.
