VILLAGE OF CAPAC
REGULAR MEETING
July 17, 2023
President Hlubic called the meeting to order at 7 p.m. and led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. Council Members present were Joe Herrington, Mary Klug, Lynne Mandeville, Joe Nemecek, Samantha Ramirez, and Village President, Debra Hlubic. Council Member absent: Tony Vigiletti. Also, present were Village Manager, Travis Youatt, and Clerk, LeAnn Brewer.
Motions passed by Council were to approve the July 17, 2023, agenda as presented, approve the June 30, 2023 meeting minutes as presented, approve the bills to pay in the amount of $70,954.67, to authorize Village Manager, Travis Youatt to proceed with the hiring of Carlo Dealca as Police Chief pending a background check and negotiate a letter of understanding, to approve the painting of the of a mural on the DPW garage doors upon Council’s recommendation of incorporating the Chief’s head into the history design for the first door and adding some plants to the middle door with the sun, to have Construction Code Authority to look at the property located at 138 N. Main Street for a dangerous building.
