Regular Meeting
July 12, 2023
Supervisor Downey called the meeting to order at 7 p.m. Bruce Downey (Supervisor), Sheila McDonald (Clerk), Deborah Lewis (Treasurer), and Monica Standel (Trustee) were present (8:20). Brad Humphrey (Trustee) was absent. One (1) guest were present. Motions were passed to: approve the regular June14 meeting minutes, have the zoning enforcer look into a possible blight violation at 4709 Knoll Road, approve Resolution 2023-02 regarding annexation, approve Resolution 2023-03 for the St Clair County Local Road Assistance program for the Martin Road culvert replacement, approve the Auditors contract for 3 years at $7500/yr. as presented, approve the purchase of 2 packages not to exceed $50,000 for benches and a cremation wall in the Capac Cemetery, approve the July bills, re appoint Linda Schmitt to a 3 yr planning commission term, approve the Treasurer’s report as presented. Unanimous vote, Standel present 8:20 p.m., have the zoning enforcer look into a possible blight violation at 4050 Knoll Road, have the zoning enforcer look into a possible blight violation on vacant property on Burt Road, adjourn the meeting at 8:35 p.m.
