SYNOPSIS
President Schneider called the Regular Meeting to order at 8 p.m. Councilmembers present were; Calka, Dyke, Feldman, Glasser, Kuligowski, Steffler and Schneider. Staff members present were Village Manager David Trent, Clerk/Treasurer Kimberly Keesler, Police Chief Andrew Martin, DPW Superintendent Bryan Treat and WWTP Superintendent Clinton Farley.
Approved the agenda; approved the consent agenda; approved the DDA’s Amended Budget for the Fiscal Year 2022-2023, as presented; approved the DDA’s Budget for the Fiscal Year 2023-2024; approved Resolution #23-06-01, granting funding from MDOT in the amount of $245,000; approved to adopt Resolution #23-06-02, adopting millage rates and garbage collection fees for 2023-2024 fiscal year; approved to adopt Resolution #23-06-03, adopting an official fee schedule; approved to adopt Resolution #23-06-04, established the water rates for fiscal year 2023-2024; approved to adopt Resolution #23-06-05, to increase and adjust the sewer rates for fiscal year 2023-2024; approved to adopt Resolution #23-06-06, to eliminate the sanitary sewage overflow rate, effective April 1, 2023; approved to adopt Resolution #23-06-07, adopting the proposed budget for fiscal year 2023-2024, as corrected; approved to adopt Resolution #23-06-08, opposing house bills 4526, 4527 and 4528, as presented.
