SYNOPSIS
President Schneider called the Regular Meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. Councilmembers present were; Calka, Dyke, Feldman, Glasser, Kuligowski, Steffler and Schneider. Staff members present were Village Manager David Trent, Clerk/Treasurer Kimberly Keesler and Police Chief Andrew Martin.
Approved the agenda; approved the consent agenda; approved the liability insurance proposal from Decker Agency in the amount of $88,345, contingent upon the examination of the deductibles; approved to authorize the utilization of the grant monies from Lapeer County Community Foundation for the Trunk Line Bridge Beautification Project and authorize the Village Manager to submit the application, contingent upon the design not infringing into the walkway; approved the revised estimate from Inliner and approved an amount not to exceed $245,000 for the total cost of the project; approved the fourth quarter budget amendments for fiscal year 2023; entered into closed session at 9:29 p.m. for strategy and negotiation sessions connected with the negotiation of a collective bargaining agreement, returned from closed session at 9:54 p.m.
The meeting adjourned at 9:55 p.m.
