ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
2023 Road Improvements
The Village of Almont is requesting bids for the construction of 2023 Road Improvements. Bids for the construction of the project will be received at the Almont Village Office located at 817 N. Main Street, Almont, MI 48003, until 10 a.m. local time, Wednesday, August 9, 2023. At that time the bids received will be publicly opened and read.
The project includes pulverizing existing pavement, removing excess pulverized material, and resurfacing with HMA.
The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Fleis & VandenBrink, 9475 Holly Road, Suite 201, Grand Blanc, Michigan, 48439: Telephone 810-743-9120. Bid Room at www.fveng.com. Prospective Bidders may request the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Bids will be accepted only from Plan Holders of Record. In order to be a Plan Holder of Record, Bidding Documents must be obtained from the Issuing Office.
Bidding Documents will be emailed in portable document format (PDF) at no charge.
The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder’s date of receipt of the Bidding Documents.
A pre-bid conference will not be held.

The Village of Almont reserves the right to accept any bid, reject any or all bids, to waive informalities and make the award in any manner deemed in the best interest of the Village of Almont.
