CAPAC — Capac standout Julia Schaefer suited up for the White team in a 3-1 setback to the Red squad at the Michigan High School Softball Coaches Association Division 4 All-Star Game last Wednesday afternoon.
Davenport University, in Grand Rapids, is where the action unfolded.
Schaefer was held hitless in her two plate appearances.
She lined up defensively for the White team’s side as a centerfielder.
Schaefer was joined by Kailey Mullins (Waterford Our Lady of the Lakes), Alyssa Hein (Rogers City), Alexis McCarty (River Valley), Kaitlin Nowicki (Rogers City), Kahlen Wheaton (Addison), Maggie Koreleski (Kinde North Huron), Natalie Wandrie (Inland Lakes), Ryann Clancy (Inland Lakes), MairEva Allen (Waterford Our Lady of the Lakes), Donna VanHolla (Norway) and Gracie Taylor (Danville).
Faith Cousins (Posen), Gracie Piggott (Fowler), Olivia Makowski (Glen Lake), Rachel Cairo (Southfield Christian), Emerson Cinglie (Riverview Gabriel Richard), Olivia Jubar (USA), Rachel McCaughna (Michigan Lutheran Seminary), Aubrey Smith (Lake Leelanau), Jocelyn Tobias (Johannesburg Lewiston), Megan Postma (Rudyard), Avery Koengsknecht (Fowler), Lauren Schabes (Mendon), Carly Andros (Fowler) and Kinzee Stockdale (Frankfort) represented the Red squad that day.
