ALMONT — Almont’s Grace Koenig and Devin Johnston competed for the White team in a 14-3 loss to the Red squad at the Michigan High School Coaches Association Division 3 All-Star Game last Wednesday morning.
Davenport University, in Grand Rapids, is where the contest took place.
Koenig had a triple in two at bats and scored a run.
She lined up defensive at shortstop.
Johnston added an RBI-single in two at bats to the White team’s cause.
She lined up defensively as a third baseman.
Joining them on the White team were Paige Thomas (Delton-Kellogg), Melena Gardner (Harrison), Allana Martinez (Gladstone), Ryleigh Yocum (Elk Rapids), Lexi Mielke (Standish), Reagann Merchant (Elk Rapids), Abby Robinson (Shepherd), Brooke Meeker (Traverse City St. Francis), Liv Regenfus (Shepherd), Devri Jennings (Standish), Isabel Hrabel (St. Louis) and Grace Simpson (Beaverton).
Kailey Tarte (Memphis), Patrina Marsh (Ottawa Lake Whiteford), Allie Hawkins (Kingsley), Ella Stephenson (Algonac), Emily Guthry (Grass Lake), Aly VanBrandt (Ottawa Lake Whiteford), Lillia Sherman (Millington), Emma Fair (Clinton), Zoey Bacon (Central Montcalm), Maddie Peterson (Blissfield), Lauren Hartman (Grayling), Jerzie VanOchten (Reese), Macy Verbeek (Calvin Christian), Addison Gray (Evart), Jacee Hoffman (Kent City) and Lauren Alexander (Central Montcalm) suited up for the Red squad that day.
