CAPAC — The Capac 13U baseball team earned a second-place finish at the Capac All-Star Tournament.

Capac began tournament play Sunday with a 2-1 win against the Kimball Cobras. They then followed it up with a 4-2 victory over Marine City and a 4-0 triumph against Almont.

Those outcomes landed Capac an appearance in Monday’s championship game where they squared off versus the Kimball Cobras. That battle drew to a close with the Kimball Cobras up by a 10-3 scoreboard count.

Bryce Lietz, Kyle Barbier, Axel Demaray, Charles Leonard, Paul Swamba, Jack McGeorge, Cameron Wilson, James Owens, Cayden Morris, Steven Bucy, Kaleb Pietrzak comprised the roster of Capac’s second place team.
