VILLAGE OF CAPAC
REGULAR MEETING
JUNE 20, 2023
President Hlubic called the meeting to order at 7 p.m. and led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. Council Members present were Mary Klug, Lynne Mandeville, Joe Nemecek, Samantha Ramirez, Tony Vigiletti, and Village President, Debra Hlubic. Council Member absent: Joe Herrington. Also, present were Village Manager, Travis Youatt; Clerk, LeAnn Brewer and Village Attorney, Allen Francis.
Motions passed by Council were to approve the June 20, 2023 agenda as presented, approve the June 5, 2023 meeting minutes, approve the bills to pay in the amount of $56,624.27, close the regular meeting and open the public hearing at 7:04 p.m., to close the public hearing and reopen the regular meeting at 7:05 p.m., adopt the 2023-2024 budget as presented, approve the special event permit application received from Capac Community Schools for the homecoming parade to be held on October 6, 2023, approve the bid from M&M Pavement dated 6/6/23 in the amount of $3,300.00, adopt Resolution 2023-08 to place special assessments on the Village of Capac Tax Roll, to start the annexation process into the Village for the Taco Bell project, to approve Village Manager, Travis Youatt, to act as the authorized representative on behalf of Village with the Capac Historical Society, approve the August 2023-June 2024 Resource Officer Agreement as presented with a five-percent increase, change the time of the next regularly scheduled Council meeting to be held at 4 p.m. on Friday, June 30, 2023.
