Patrick Jon Brozowski, age 56, of Stephenson Road, Angier, NC and formerly of Emmett, MI passed away on Saturday April 1, 2023, at Wake-Forest Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem, following an accident surrounded by his loving family.

He is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth Nelson Resseguie Brozowski; children, Nicholas, Aleksander, Tasha and Lelia Brozowski, all of North Carolina; his mother Patricia Ellen (Bligh) Brozowski, of Clinton Township MI; brothers, Steven (Kimberly) Brozowski, Joseph Brozowski and his sister Kathleen (Jean) Godin. As well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Patrick was preceded in death by his brother Robert Charles and father Robert Joseph Brozowski.

Patrick was born on September 30, 1966, in Grosse Pointe, MI. He attended Capac Community Schools, graduating from high school in 1984. He also attended St. Clair Community. College, Saginaw Valley State University, East Carolina University and Capella University. He earned his Bachelor of Arts and teaching certificate as well as his Masters of Education in Teaching and Learning.

Patrick served our Country from 1988 to 2015, serving three tours in Desert Storm, Iraq and as a Commanding Officer in Afghanistan. He retired from the US Marine Corps and the National Guard. During his military career, Patrick achieved the rank of Captain and he received many, many honors and recognitions. He was also a member of several civilian organizations such as Veterans of Foreign Wars, Capac, MI, and the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association Chapter 15-6 of North Carolina.

Patrick was a loving husband and dedicated father. He excelled at making friends, being a friend and serving his fellow mankind. Patrick was an avid historian, as well being a NHRA (National Hot Rod Association) enthusiast. His favorite hobby was restoring and showing classic Mopar cars. Patrick was a gifted “handy man” creating a beautiful yard, and restoring his loving homes.

Memorial service is scheduled on June 11, 2023, at Muir Funeral Home & Celebration of Life Center, 2650 S Van Dyke, Imlay City MI 48444. Family & friends will be received beginning at 1 p.m. Service will begin at 2 p.m.
