NOTICE
The Imlay Township Planning Commission initiated a text amendment to modify the existing regulation on commercial solar energy collectors. These changes include minor changes to the definition, removal of commercial solar energy collectors from the Agriculture and Light Industrial zoning districts, and modify design requirements regarding setback from property lines, coloring of equipment, repair timeframe, decommissioning plan, glare study, and site information requirements. A complete copy of the amendment is available at the Imlay Township Clerk’s office, 682 N Fairgrounds Road, Imlay City.
