Almont’s Avery Peake looks to send the ball to a teammate in a match this spring.
ALMONT — Almont earned an 8-0 win against visiting Yale in a Division 3 girls’ district soccer opening round encounter it hosted last Wednesday.
Avery Peake (set up by Tara Tencza), Jesse Kautz (assisted by Katie Cafek), Peak (set up by Kautz), Kautz (assisted by Peake), Natalia Radisavljevic (set up by Kautz), Radisavljevic (assisted by Peake), Kautz (set up by Radisavljevic) and Kautz (assisted by Peake) managed Almont’s goals.
Christina Weeks was the winning Almont goalkeeper. She finished with seven saves.
