Ed Brinker, age 65, of Imlay City, MI died Friday, May 12, 2023 after a brave battle with cancer at Lake Huron Medical Center of Port Huron, MI. Edwin Elmer Brinker was born January 18, 1958 in Almont, MI. He is the son of the late Elmer and the late Lucille (Creger) Brinker. Ed had lived all of his life in the Imlay City area. He was a graduate of Imlay City High School, Class of 1976. Ed married Karen Currier on May 16, 1987 in Dryden, MI.

Ed was a jack of all trades and held many jobs through the years including oil delivery for Parsch’s Oil in Imlay City and maintenance for Rolling Hills Apartments in Lapeer. He also owned and operated Deer View Golf Course for about eight years. Ed bowled on several leagues at
the Cedar Lanes Bowling Alley in
Imlay City

Ed is survived by: his wife, Karen Brinker; son, Ryan Brinker of Imlay City, MI; his sister, Linda (Al) Swoish of North Branch, MI; and brother, Michael (Jesusita) Brinker of Remus, MI. Ed was preceded in death by: his parents, Elmer and Lucille Brinker.

A Funeral Mass was held Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 700 Maple Vista, Imlay City, MI. Burial followed in Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Imlay City.
