Dear Editor,
I was saddened when I read news of the passing of Carl Scholz. Our thoughts and prayers are with Carl’s family.
I think I can speak for all of my gearhead friends and some of you guys and girls that have attended one of Carl’s 28 car shows over the years, when I say thank you Carl and your crew for putting on a top notch, quality, respected car show for all those years.
We always looked forward every year to the car show. To put on a show like Carl did with the size of the show, the quality of the cars attending, and the large geographical area encompassing the attendees was remarkable. And to put on a show like that it takes a lot of time, energy and bodies.
Special thanks to Randy Schultz and all of the many guys and girls that made it all happen. Great job guys!
Carl, you will be missed.
