Four County Community Foundation looks forward to celebrating the grand opening of Imlay City Schools new, state-of-the-art Performing Arts Center this Friday, May 12, with multiple performances of The Wizard of Oz, followed by dance, choir and band productions in the ensuing days.
We’re also excited for the opportunity to raise awareness about the new Imlay City Schools Endowment Fund for the Performing Arts, a fund created with Four County Community Foundation in late 2022, by an anonymous donor.
The fund’s intent is to “seed” future monetary awards and supplement the costs of extra expenses for student productions, like quality costuming and makeup services, while also facilitating the hosting of quality performing arts groups to the new Performing Arts Center. Anyone interested in seeing the Performing Arts Center become a vibrant place in the community is encouraged to give.
