William Joseph Brewer, 54, of Port Charlotte, FL passed away on Wednesday, March 1,2023. “Bill” was born June 28,1968 in Lapeer, Ml to Charles and Mary Lou Brewer.
He grew up in Imlay City and lived there until moving to Hesperia, MI with then wife, Debra. Unfortunately a car-horse accident in 2002 took his life on a path of total dependence on caregivers. Although with dependence on others, we believe he had a happy life. Sadly cancer claimed his life.
Bill is survived by his siblings, Jack (Janet) Brewer, Edith (John) Walters, Mary (David) Workman and brother-in-law Kirk Myers. He is also survived by nephews, Tony (Jude) Wagner and Gregory Brewer, as well as many cousins and caregivers Debra and Jim Vallie.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Mary Lou Brewer and sister, Ramona Myers.
Cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held on Monday, May 8, 2023 at 1 p.m. at the Imlay Township Cemetery in Imlay City.
